About TuningCloud

TuningCloud is a cloud-based subscription service for tuning your database servers. We provide the highest levels of performance expertise at an unmatched price.

The service is semi-automated, significantly reducing the cost of complex tuning. This allows us to offer a step change in efficiency: many small changes applied consistently across the whole database rather than a few manual changes that deliver good results but don't last long as your databases evolve.

As a subscription service we are able to offer repeated re-analysis of your servers, allowing us to react to changes over time and to keep your servers running efficiently for longer periods.

Tuning via the cloud allows us to completely off-load all CPU effort in re-tuning, allowing us to model what-if scenarios with ease. We scale up easily to cope with your needs and we'll be continuously improving our service based upon our further research and experience.

How does it work?

You collect data about your system using the TuningCloud data collector and then upload to the TuningCloud portal. Secure, controlled and efficient.

We then return a set of recommendations to you, as an implementable script to allow you to make the changes easily and quickly. You can then rapidly tune your system when you choose, allowing you to re-asses the performance of a major upgrade of your system.

You don't need any expertise in PostgreSQL - we provide that. If you are an expert, the outputs are visible, so you can inspect the recommendations.
